VinSolutions, DealerSocket, Salesforce Automotive Cloud, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and LeadSquared come up when a shop owner has worked at a dealership, or has searched for an automotive CRM. This page explains what each one is built for, what it costs where a price is published, and where LeadGasket fits, with facts from each company's own website on October 22, 2026.
The short version
These five are not built for an independent repair shop. VinSolutions and DealerSocket are dealer CRMs: their pages talk about dealerships, dealer groups, desking, inventory and links to a dealer management system, and neither publishes a price. Salesforce Automotive Cloud is written for automakers, dealers and captive finance, at $300 to $725 per user per month on an annual contract. Microsoft Dynamics 365 and LeadSquared are general sales CRMs priced per user, and Microsoft's automotive page talks to automakers, suppliers and fleets.
LeadGasket is built for the shop: a website, web chat, texting, online booking, review requests, campaigns and phones, priced per shop at $97 or $397 a month, month-to-month, with a 45-minute onboarding call instead of an implementation project. If you sell and finance vehicles, desk deals or run a sales floor across locations, you need one of the products above or a dealer management system, and LeadGasket is not that. If you need the phone answered, the calendar filled and customers coming back, dealership software is the wrong size.
You sell and finance vehicles and need desking, inventory, F&I and a dealer management system link (VinSolutions, DealerSocket).
You are an automaker, captive finance company, fleet or dealer group that needs one customer record across sales, service and finance (Salesforce Automotive Cloud).
You run a sales team that needs lead routing, territories and forecasting, and you have a partner or IT staff to set it up (Dynamics 365, LeadSquared).
You are fine with per-user pricing on an annual contract, or with a quote.
You run an independent repair, tire, glass, tint, audio or collision shop and want one price per shop, not per user: $97 or $397 a month, month-to-month.
You want the tools these products do not list for a shop: a website and funnels you edit yourself, web chat, missed-call text-back, online booking, automatic review requests and an AI receptionist option.
You want to be running after a 45-minute onboarding call, with your customer list imported from a spreadsheet.
You want a 30-day 110% money-back guarantee.

List prices from each pricing page on October 22, 2026. Example: a shop with a three-person front desk that wants a CRM with texting, booking and campaigns.
Salesforce Automotive Cloud Sales & Service Core, 3 users, annual contract: $900
Dynamics 365 Sales Professional, 3 users, paid yearly: $195
Microsoft Customer Insights, if you want email and text campaigns: $1,700
LeadSquared Sales Pro, 3 users, billed annually: $180
VinSolutions or DealerSocket: Quote
Licenses alone, per month: $180 to $900
Setup is extra: partner implementation for Salesforce and Dynamics 365, vendor onboarding for the dealer CRMs. None of these include a shop website, online booking, review requests or missed-call text-back at these prices.
Professional (texting, booking, website, web chat, missed-call text-back, review requests, campaigns, social planner, invoicing, call tracking), up to 10 users: $397
Text, call and email usage (most shops): $20 to $75
Per month: $417 to $472
Essential at $97 covers texting, booking, the website, web chat and missed-call text-back for 2 users: $117 to $172 with usage.
On license price alone, Dynamics 365 Sales Professional and LeadSquared Sales Pro for two or three seats cost less than LeadGasket Professional. What they leave out is the shop side: a website, online booking, review requests, missed-call text-back and a phone receptionist, and they are set up by a partner or your own staff rather than on a 45-minute call. Salesforce Automotive Cloud costs more than LeadGasket before setup, and the dealer CRMs are priced for dealerships by quote.
If you used VinSolutions or DealerSocket at a dealership, here is what changes when you run LeadGasket at your own shop:
1. There is no dealer management system behind it. Your repair orders live in your shop management system, and LeadGasket does not read them.
2. Your customer list comes in from a spreadsheet on the onboarding call. New customers are added when they book, text, call or fill out a form.
3. Follow-up runs by date and tag instead of by deal stage: appointment reminders, review requests, win-back campaigns and service-due reminders you set by interval.
4. Texting, email, web chat and Facebook Messenger land in one inbox, from a local number, and every missed call gets a text back.
5. There is no desking, inventory, F&I or equity mining, and no per-user seats to buy.
What you give up compared with dealer and enterprise CRMs: the vehicle-sales workflow, the dealer management system link, and enterprise features such as territories, forecasting and company-wide customer records.
Their websites are written for dealerships and dealer groups: desking, inventory, dealer management system links and vehicle sales. Neither lists repair shops as customers or publishes a price, as of October 22, 2026. DealerSocket's parent company, Solera, sells to repair shops through a different brand, Identifix, whose products are repair information, a shop management system and marketing services.
Salesforce's automotive pages describe OEMs, dealers and captive finance. The editions run $300 to $725 per user per month and require an annual contract, as of October 22, 2026. There is a 30-day free trial, and setup is usually done by an implementation partner.
For two or three users, the license is cheaper: $130 to $195 a month, paid yearly. It is a sales CRM with reporting and dashboards. It does not include a website, online booking, review requests, missed-call text-back or phone answering; Microsoft's marketing product, Customer Insights, is $1,700 per tenant per month; and setup is usually done by a partner. LeadGasket Professional is $397 a month for up to 10 users with those tools included.
LeadSquared is a per-user sales and marketing CRM: Sales Pro $60 and Sales Super $100 per user per month, with marketing plans listed at $2,000 and $3,500 per account, as of October 22, 2026. Its automotive page is written for dealerships, OEMs and used-car sales. LeadGasket is priced per shop, with up to 10 users on Professional.
No. LeadGasket has no repair orders, inspections, parts, inventory or desking. It runs alongside your shop management system. See our pages on Tekmetric, Shopmonkey and AutoLeap for how that works.
Email [email protected] within your first 30 days and we refund 110% of what you paid for your plan. Usage charges are not refunded, the guarantee is one refund per business, and a refund closes your account. After 30 days, cancel by emailing us at least 7 days before your renewal date.
